The journey begins at Piazzale Cadorna, a bustling square characterized by a colored sculpture which symbolizes many aspects of Milan. The first part of this combo experience will be the city’s walking tour. You will leave from Piazzale Cadorna, then you will reach the impressive Sforzesco Castle and explore vibrant squares like Piazza Affari, the hub of financial activity, and Piazza Cordusio, a charming square surrounded by historical buildings.
The next stop is the historic Piazza dei Mercanti, where you can soak in the medieval atmosphere and admire the architectural gems that surround you. Then you will see the La Scala Theater and walk inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the oldest shopping arcade decorated with mosaics and stained glass windows.
The walking tour ends in Piazza Duomo, where you’ll enter the iconic cathedral for a guided exploration of its interior. You will also ascend to the terrace for panoramic views of the city, capturing the essence of Milan from above.
After the guided visit of Duomo Cathedral, you will independently make your way to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where you will reunite with the guide to start the guided visit of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper. Before entering the Church to see the painting, your guide will tell you the history of the Church and the painting during a captivating 30/40-minute explanation, outside the church. Finally, accompanied by the guide, you’ll be ready to see the Last Supper painting (the visit inside the refectory only lasts 15-minute).
