Isabella

Hi, I am Isabella and I live in Verona, but I lived in many Italian cities. My mum is from Venice and my dad from Verona, so I feel 100% Venetian. I studied to be a teacher and a journalist, but then my passion for travel has prevailed. I love travelling and I have always traveled a lot, near or far. I love seeing places, meeting people, trying new experiences. Japan thrilled me, I would like to go to Kamchatka. Here I specialized becoming a tour leader and a tour guide to tell people about the beauty of my homeland. To this I combine my other two passions: food and wine. What to say? Italian DOC!

Benedetta

I’m a “very veronese” girl, born and raised in the old town of Verona. After studying foreign languages at the University of Bologna, I spent years living abroad, mostly in Spain and in Hong Kong, but I finally decided to be back home and started falling in love with the history of the city and getting surprised by its beauty. That’s why I became a tour leader and a tour guide: I love showing Verona and discovering it every day through my guests’ eyes. So, join me for a walk or a ride around my beautiful town!

“Great guided walk around all the main spots”

★★★★★
Our guide was Fernando. He was very good indeed, friendly, interesting and knowledgeable. He took us on a 2.5hr tour although the time just rushed by. We learnt so much about the place and the buildings and he answered all of our questions. His grasp of the history of Verona was excellent. We even went into to restaurant at one point so he could give us a talk about the local wines with him pointing them out on the shelf. That was a good move as it was in the 'locals' area of Verona and we went back there for lunch. A great way to see the place, he had really interesting places to show us, some I am sure out of the ordinary and was a pleasure to have him guide us.

“Tour with Isabella”

★★★★★
We had the walking tour with Isabella - she was very knowledgeable, but also funny and gave us interesting facts about Verona! Recommend doing this tour as a great way to get the best of Verona in a short space of time, and then look around with a different eye.

“Highlight of our visit”

★★★★★
This has to be one of the best guided tours we have ever taken - and we have been on many! Our tour guide, Irene, was a fine art graduate and artist so her knowledge and passion for this fascinating city was incredible. But what was equally important was her charm and adaptability in answering all our questions and making us feel as if every fact or story had been told to us personally for the first time. By the end of the tour it felt like she was a friend we had known for ages. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories of Verona.
